Visit (26th October 2006)
May I take this opportunity to thank you and all the Brogdale staff
for making our visit this morning so enjoyable. Our guided tour
was most interesting and very informative, the fruit tasting part
was an unexpected treat and then, when we saw the huge display,
we realised what an important place Brogdale has in the world when
it comes to fruit growing. No doubt our members will visit you again,
perhaps in blossom time.
Retired
Members Group (14th September 2006)
I am writing on behalf of our members who came to visit Brogdale
last Thursday. They all had a wonderful time and have asked me to
express their thanks. They all enjoyed the tractor/trailer ride,
the apple tasting and their lunches too. The guides were all very
interesting and knowledgeable; we wish we would have spent longer
with you. Our thanks again and we would certainly recommend you
to our friends.
Recycled
Teenagers Club (22nd September 2006)
I am writing on behalf of all our club members to express our sincere
gratitude for the wonderful day we spent at your centre. We have
visited many places over the past years but I can honestly say that
the welcome, food, guides, were the best we have ever had. We will
be arranging a spring visit, and some of us will be down both for
the cider weekend as well as the apple week. Thank you all so much.
Coach
Party (20th August 2006)
On behalf of all the members of the coach party, I am writing to
express our thanks for the lovely afternoon we spent at Brogdale
last Saturday. The warm welcome from the chief guide, the friendly,
caring, kindly approach of the staff and the generosity to our coach
driver were all much appreciated. Even fine, sunny weather was laid
on for us. Grateful thanks from all of us.
Visitor
(24th July 2006)
Very many thanks to you for all that you did to support our visit
to Brogdale on Wednesday afternoon. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed
themselves and came away having learned a great deal about fruit
and several pounds heavier after the wonderful tea. Again, thank
you.
Women's
Club (Summer 2006)
On behalf of our Women's Club, I would like to thank you and your
staff who made our trip to Brogdale very enjoyable. Looking forward
to a spring visit.
Gardening
Club (Summer 2006)
Thank you for your warm welcome on Sunday. I'm writing this short
note to let you know how much we all enjoyed our trip to Brogdale
on Sunday. We all had a lovely day and enjoyed the informative tours
we took and of course the apples and cider. Many Thanks.
Group
(Summer 2006)
I would like to thank you on behalf of our group for a delightful
visit to Brogdale. You made the tour very interesting and the tasting
bits were good. We were all surprised at the varieties of
fruit grown and how long it takes to become commercially available.
Thank you once again.
Local
History Group (Summer 2006)
It was a pleasure to meet you yesterday and I would like to thank
you and your staff for making us feel so welcome. Choosing Brogdale
as a coffee shop proved very popular indeed and we all really enjoyed
our short time with you. The cherries travelled well and are delicious,
as were the home made cakes. I have passed the details of tours
you gave me to our Gardening Group Leader with the suggestion a
visit be arranged during 2007 so I hope you will be hearing from
her later in the year. Once again my thanks.
National
Trust Association (Summer 2006)
I am writing to thank you for our visit yesterday. Those of us who
selected not to do the walk had a very welcome and delicious tea
and enjoyed purchasing fruit and other goods in your shop. Those
of us who did the self guided walk were most interested and enjoyed
it very much. A big thank you to your chief guide who was so helpful
and charming to us.
WEA
Group
On behalf of the WEA I would like to express our thanks for the
superb hospitality shown to our group by yourself and colleagues
on our visit to the Trust yesterday. Our members have asked me to
say how interesting you all made our visit and I feel sure they
may well be revisiting as individuals in the future. Thank you one
again.
